When I first began developing this website, my intention was simply to create a platform where I could view and manage my own collection in one place. As the project evolved, I decided to expand its purpose and gather all available information on Icelandic Bridge Cancels into a single, accessible resource.
Some may wonder why the site is not written in Icelandic. The reason is respect for the many international collectors who have included Icelandic material in their collections. The owner and editor of this website is an active member of Icelandic philatelic associations. After exploring various areas within the philatelic world over the years, the focus naturally narrowed to the study and collection of Icelandic Bridge Cancels, which has become a dedicated and ongoing passion. Although the primary emphasis of this site is Icelandic Bridge Cancels, it has already begun to feature additional philatelic material, and it is likely that even more related content will be added as the collection and research continue to grow.
