Now I want to mention an interesting discovery that I made while going through Hálfdán’s Helgasonar book on Icelandic Postal Stationery.
There are the so‑called Lettercards, which feature a falcon that is strikingly similar to the one used on the Karitas stamps. Below you can see an AI comparison analysis between the Karitas stamps and the falcon on the lettercard. The conclusion speaks for itself and points quite strongly toward H.H. Thiele as the printing house behind the Caritas stamps.
